Decking
It is very important to maintain your wooden or composite decking
Dirty decking can be slippery when wet and become very dangerous for walking on, the surface if not maintained correctly is very susceptible to moss and algae growth.
If not cleaned correctly and by a professional decking can be damaged through the cleaning process.
Our staff are trained to use the correct amount of pressure and correct type of water jet when cleaning decking to ensure that the surface is not damaged.
Jet washing alone is not good enough when cleaning decking as living moss and algae spores which are engrained deep inside the wood will still remain and often this can be seen as the decking will still appear slightly green after cleaning
Natural Stone
Natural Stone can be more difficult to restore. Due to its high porosity it easily gets dirty and stained.
Sometimes pressure washing alone will not restore the natural stone to its former glory, as there will be black spots or green staining left behind on the slabs. This is why we also use the soft washing method on natural stone after pressure washing. This process is repeated until all black spots and organic staining have died and disappeared.
Due to our knowledge and expertise we can get superb results when cleaning natural stones such as black slate, Indian sandstone, granite and marble.
We also recommend sealing the stone with a natural stone sealer to decrease the porosity and slow down any growth of mosses and algae which will stain the stone in the long run.

After your block paving has been thoroughly cleaned highly recommend our re-fill service, which includes the application between the bricks with kiln dried, weed inhibiting sand.
This would involve us coming back another day, to ensure the blocks are completely dry and ready for the sand to be brushed in thoroughly. This jointing sand is not there to simply fill in the gaps – it provides the essential friction that generates the horizontal and vertical interlock that allows these ‘small bricks’ to carry such big loads like cars.
